New Approach to Achieve Amazingly Low Prices
After careful consideration, we came to the conclusion that we need to establish new manufacturing systems and to develop a new product platform, in order to achieve low prices the customers demand. Until now, all TEIN dampers can be disassembled for overhaul; Now, we introduce our new "Sealed Structure" for the FLEX Z. Below is a brief description of this new production process for our FLEX Z at TEIN HQ Factory in Yokohama, Japan.
Top end of shell pipe is drawn, oil & gas are injected then the opening is completely sealed by crimping process. This "Sealed Structure" process also reduces the production time, compared to the production of existing disassembable dampers.
In addition, pursuit of efficient production system, such as use of seam welding, allows us to drastically reduce the production cost.
2.Twin-Tube System for Comfortable Ride on Streets!
Considering the use of larger tires/wheels and the lowered ride height, FLEX Z uses twin-tube system, in pursuit of ride comfort on streets.

In order to maintain the ride quality on streets with rough spots here and there, a shock absorber has to have sufficient stroke, be low-frictional and move smoothly.
As an oil chamber and a gas chamber are not arranged serially in a twin-tube system, it is easy to secure enough stroke. Also, low gas pressure keeps friction low.

Its smooth stroke movement makes it possible to follow rough and bumpy road surfaces quite well, offering supple ride at low speed and stable ride at high speed.

3.Full-Length System for Ride Height Adjustment w/ Minimal Change in Ride!
Full-length ride height adjustment system, used for FLEX Z, enables adjustment of ride height by adjusting the case length, without changing the damper stroke length and/or spring pre-load. This has the advantage that the change in ride quality is kept minimal when the height is adjusted.
This system not only makes it possible to maintain good balance between the low-down appearance and ride comfort, but also provides more setting choices for sport driving as well.

4.Damping Force Adjustable to Change Ride to Desired Settings!
FLEX Z has ever-popular 16-level damping force adjustment (comp./rebound together) feature with the use of needle valve. By turning the adjustment knob, damping force (stiffness) is adjusted linearly step by step, to change the ride and handling of the car to suit driver's needs/preferences. 
Use of well-reputed "ADVANCE Needle" at the needle valve for oil flow control secures sufficient damping force adjustable range.

5.Compatible with EDFC Series to enable In-Car Damping Force Adjustment!
With EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) series installed, damping force can be controlled from the cockpit with ease. Stepping motors attached in place of adjustment knobs control the damping force quickly and accurately. 
Use of EDFC turns 16-level adjustment into finer 32-level or 64-level adjustment mode (64-level only available with EDFC ACTIVE / EDFC ACTIVE PRO), to provide the optimum performance by fully utilizing the damping force adjustable range drastically widened by the use of "ADVANCE Needle". 

With EDFC ACTIVE / EDFC ACTIVE PRO, damping force can be controlled automatically according to changes in G-force and/or vehicle speed, to offer very smooth and slick ride like never before. (Some models are NOT compatible with EDFC series.)

After many years of research and study, TEIN has developed optimally-shaped dust boot made of most suitable material. Elastic & highly-durable dust boot effectively prevents damages to the piston rod and foreign substances from getting inside the shock absorber.

Final assembly of shock absorbers is done in the clean room, which is almost equivalent to operating room. Room pressure is kept under control to shut out dust & dirt and all workers entering the room must take air shower, to make sure all the assembly work is done in completely clean air, in order to maintain higher level of accuracy and reliability.

8. Thoroughgoing Rust-Proofing!
Upper mounts and lower brackets are coated with rich TEIN green powder paint. This powder paint has high coating film strength, is highly durable yet is low-pollution due to non-use of harmful solvent. After the shot blasting pre-treatment, the patented "2-layer/1-bake" treatment using anti-rust powder paint is applied for superior durability and high corrosion resistance. (Patent No. 4347712)

9.Highly Durable & Reliable!
For strut suspensions, sufficiently-thick ribbed plate is used for knuckle bracket to maintain high rigidity. Flange shape edge of the bracket provides larger contact area with the bracket lock, which is fastened with the conical washer inserted in between, to effectively prevent loosening of the bracket lock most commonly occurs on front strut suspensions.
Brackets for brake hoses and ABS sensor harnesses etc are exclusively designed for each vehicle model for hassle-free installation.

10.Smooth Ride Height Adjustment & One-of-A-Kind Adjusting Wrench!
FLEX Z has adopted the new wrought aluminum spring seats and low-friction hard-resin thrust washers. These effectively reduces the friction with springs, caused during ride height adjustment, and makes it easier to adjust the ride height with pre-load on the springs.
Shell cases are treated with "ZT Coating", a superlow-friction fluorine resin coating, which is tightly baked onto the surface in-house. This special coating provides superior protection against rust and high lubricity, for keeping a smooth adjustment for a long period. 

FLEX Z kit includes one-of-a-kind user-friendly ride height adjusting wrench. It has a 12.7mm (1/2in) sq. hole for attaching spinner handle and/or torque wrench for tightening at high torque.

11.No-Sag Springs!
Included springs are made of high-tensile steel SAE9254 (tensile strength 200kgf/mm2 or over) and cold formed for excellent resistance to sagging and for superior quality stability.
Surface is powder coated for superb protection against chipping & peeling, for high durability and for superior anti-corrosion performance.
High-quality spring can be used under various conditions without any worry.

12.High-Spec Damper Oil
Specially-formulated high-spec oil exhibits stable viscosity characteristics at any temperature; from low to high, to allow shock absorbers to stroke smoothly and to generate damping force stably under various conditions. The oil has superior anti-foaming characteristics hence the bubble cavitation and/or thermal degradation hardly occurs, making it even suitable for tough sport driving. 13.Replacement Service to Bring Used Shock Absorbers Back to Life!
TEIN makes NO compromise on after-sales service of FLEX Z. Replacement Service is available for FLEX Z, in the place of overhaul/revalving service, as its "Sealed Structure" components cannot be disassembled.
How "Replacement Service" Works
  • NO need to return the original shock absorber
As shown above, Replacement Service allows the customer to purchase and replace the shock absorber body, excluding outer parts (upper mount, lower bracket, spring etc.).
For Overhaul/Revalving service, because the shock absorber has to be detached from the vehicle, sent back to TEIN and then returned to the owner once the job is done, there are some disadvantages;
  • Need to prepare loaner (substitute) shock absorber while waiting for overhaul job,
  • Require to do removal/installation twice, and/or
  • Can not use the vehicle left on the lift while waiting for overhaul job.
Replacement Service is time-efficient as the customer can purchase a replacement shock absorber in advance and replace with the old one whenever ready.
Replacement Shock Absorber is Customizable!
You might think that the major advantage of overhaul/revalving service, damping force and/or stroke change, is not available for FLEX Z due to its "Sealed Structure".
Well, TEIN made it possible.
Upon request, we can make the replacement shock absorber to the desired damping force specifications and/or stroke length, to the extent possible. Because the original shock absorber does not have to be returned, you can purchase and stock several replacement shock absorbers in different specifications for various purposes, not just as replacements for worn-out ones.

Such enriched after-sales service is only made available by "Made in Yokohama" quality.

04-08 Mazda 6 TSP Racing G Series Street Coilovers (COSGS-MA-16)

TSP Racing G Series Coilover kits are built for road and track use, TSP's Coilovers are fully height-adjustable, allowing you to keep the ride height the same as factory, or up to 50mm/2in lower. Damping of the piston valves are matched to each spring rate. The springs are preloaded from the factory, so you don't have to configure that before driving. Just set your ride height and damping preference with the 24 click linear adjustments.

The engineers in our factory invest time and money into research and development to ensure the highest quality, best performance kits on the market. TSP Racing Coilovers are not 'one size fits all' with adapters. Each kit is designed specifically for the vehicle, and all kits are tested and developed to ensure maximum performance.

TSP Racing rubber top plates are utilized frequently on our kits. If the front of the vehicle utilizes a camber plate, the rear will use a rubber top plate, although pillowball tops are frequently available for dedicated track vehicles. For all kits in which a camber plate cannot be utilized (A-arm suspensions) the top plates will be rubber front and rear. The main design feature of the rubber top plate is that it dampens NVH from reaching the cabin as much as possible enabling an OEM-like quiet ride. All rubber top plates have a durometer rating of 75A in order to achieve the best balance between performance and comfort.

Pillow Ball Top Hats

The pillowball top plate is used as an upgrade in the rear of a vehicle in lieu of the rubber top plate. Rubber is used as standard to limit NVH from making its way into the cabin although this upgrade is available on various chassis at the customer’s request. The pillowball top plate is a good upgrade for customers seeking a more track oriented, rigid setup where NVH is not much of a factor.

SAE9254 Steel Springs

Cold roll formed, anti-deformed with its excellent steel property and prolonged life span.3 main styles are used; linear, s-barrel, and v-barrel

Springs are marked with their length and spring rate in mm-kg/mm for example 220-07 os a 220 mm long spring with 07kg/mm spring rate.

French TOTAL Rotary Dedicated Oil

Corresponds to more changing stroke, stable properties can delay the recession, and remain similar viscosity even at extremely high temperatures.

NOK Oil Seals

We use the same NOK Oil seals as Tein. They are used for Anti-attrition and spoilage after long-term usage. Reducing the problem of oil leaks.

Lower Mounts/Base

The lower mount is where our suspension bolts to your wheel hubs. Each lower mount is designed to be an OEM replacement. We provide any and all OEM mounting points and brackets that were on the OEM shock. The lower mount, and the upper mount, is where reverse engineering the OEM suspension plays its biggest role. The process ensures everything is welded and mounted in OEM positions so that your brake lines, wheel speed sensors, and harnesses are a direct fit. Our lower mounts, whenever possible, are made of seamless steel tubing and all brackets are hand welded. Once the lower mount is completed, it is then sand blasted and powder coated in order to prevent rust and corrosion.

Shocks

We are now at the center point of our kit. As you can imagine, we have a wide variety of shock types, lengths and diameters. Each vehicle depending on our data from R&D, and accounting for the OEM suspension design will utilize a different style of shock. Each shock is hand assembled in our factory and dyno tested before use in our kits. This also helps to ensure there are no oil leaks or noise. Shocks are paired together by their compression and rebound numbers after dyno testing to a 3% variance from side to side. This means that in your kit, the fronts and rears are paired almost exactly the same to ensure proper ride quality and performance of the suspension. Each shock is coated in black via EPD, which provides a cohesive appearance, and to help with corrosion resistance.

Adjustment Rings

Height adjustments are made with separate CNC-Machined locking rings for accuracy and smooth adjustment with separate damper shock length adjustment to retain full-stroke and allows for precision suspension tuning. The wide range of allowable ride-height adjustment allows for a conservative drop to more aggressive ride heights for an aggressive stance, or to fine tune your suspension for the circuit to gain full potential of your vehicle's handling capabilities.

Our basic lock ring is located under the spring seat. This ring is special because its primary function is to torque against the spring seat and lock it in place. The lock ring will torque and secure itself to the spring seat securely once properly tightened so that the preload does not change unless the customer decides to make a change. The spring seat and basic lock ring are the two rings that are responsible for gaining leverage to make height adjustment for our coilover systems. Please note that you do not turn the rings independently to adjust height, you simply use them as a leverage point to rotate the shock body into and out of the lower mount to adjust height, but they must be locked together to achieve this.

The lower lock ring is tasked with keeping the shock locked into place once final ride height is selected. The lower lock ring must be loosened before making any sort of height adjustment and locked down properly afterwards using our spanner wrenches.

If you want to lower the vehicle, you spin the spring seat clockwise to thread the shock body into the lower mount.

 

 

Tools

Tools that are included in the kit are the spanner wrenches and your adjustment knobs. These tools are what give you the ability to really customize and tune your new suspension system.

The Spanner wrenches are a crucial tool in adjusting the ride height of your vehicle. They allow you to adjust the position of the shock inside the body and insure the tension on your spring.

The adjustment knobs are used to help you customize the overall feel of your ride, whether your damping is soft or firm.

On G-Racing coilovers with 32 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

17-32: Suggested for track use.
9-16: Suggested for mountain/aggressive use.
1-8: Suggested for common street use.

On G-Street Coilovers with 24 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

17-24: Suggested for sportier/aggressive use.
9-16: Suggested for spirited driving use.
1-8: Suggested for common street use.

 

Warranty

TSP Racing coilovers come with a 1 year unlimited mile limited warranty that covers all the main shock body components.

6 month warranty of consumables like rubber top mount, end links, etc

Camber plates are not covered under this warranty and have warranty because of the metal on metal contact.

All kits are completely rebuildable and individual parts are available separately for purchase.

About the TSP brand

After quite a few years of research and networking with the industry's best manufacturers, and fabricating and building some prototype parts, TruSpeed Performance decided to launch the TSP brand early 2016. We decided to start with a focus on Suspension and Alignment parts as there are so many companies out there increasing and tuning engines but many often neglect tuning the suspension. Not only does a car need to go fast, but it needs to handle as well. We decided to start by offering quality coilover systems for a large variety of vehicles. After a good amount of searching and negotiating, we decided to work with a company out of Taiwan who was putting out an impressive product and that had over 10 years of experience building suspension systems for other major companies. We were impressed by the quality of the materials used, and their willingness to create and customize applications for our customer's needs. We are constantly expanding the applications that are well over 700 at this point.

We plan to continue to grow the brand and are already putting out our Tru-Align Alignment systems to compliment and help best utilize the power of our TSP Racing G Series Coilovers.

TSP Racing G Series Coilover kits are built for road and track use, TSP's Coilovers are fully height-adjustable, allowing you to keep the ride height the same as factory, or up to 50mm/2in lower. Damping of the piston valves are matched to each spring rate. The springs are preloaded from the factory, so you don't have to configure that before driving. Just set your ride height and damping preference with the 24 click linear adjustments.

The engineers in our factory invest time and money into research and development to ensure the highest quality, best performance kits on the market. TSP Racing Coilovers are not 'one size fits all' with adapters. Each kit is designed specifically for the vehicle, and all kits are tested and developed to ensure maximum performance.

Aluminum alloy upper mounts, surface anodized treatment, very strong, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant aluminum oxide layer. TSP Racing rubber top plates are utilized frequently on our kits. If the front of the vehicle utilizes a camber plate, the rear will use a rubber top plate, although pillowball tops are frequently available for dedicated track vehicles. Camber Adjustable Top Hats

Camber plate is available on most kits that can utilize them (MacPherson style OEM suspension). The TSP Racing camber plate will allow a maximum of 3 degrees of camber adjustment depending on the kit.

05-14 Ford Mustang Powergrid Front Swaybar End Links (12M-75)

In today's high performance arena, there is more concentration on the whole car than ever before. The "g" force previously measured in straight line acceleration is now being mixed with the "g" force in lateral acceleration.

Within all of the suspension upgrades available for your vehicle, the most overlooked component is the sway bar link. This simple component attaches to the suspension and promotes stabilizing or "planing-out" the vehicle in a turn. Did you know that the simplicity of this link can hurt your car's performance?

Powergrid Inc. has created a system replacing the fixed-length pogo stick configurations. The Powergrid Adjustable Sway-Bar Link System provides the ability to easily adjust or tune the sway bar as part of the suspension system.

The stabilizer-bar has been overlooked as a tunable component in the production-based suspension system due to the lack of an adjustable link. The OEMs recognize that it is important to have a sway bar for cornering stability. It is installed in the suspension system and sent down the assembly line. From personal investigations, the sway bar with fixed length links can induce a load into any two cross-corners of your vehicle. The ability to neutralize the sway bar in your suspension system is a great advantage to baseline, balance, and refines your vehicle's handling characteristics. Powergrid has achieved this by creating adapters that integrate current sway bar link technology to the traditional sway bar architecture.

The Powergrid system has incorporated adjustable THK resin ball-stud links. You may recognize their fixed length siblings that are finding themselves on many new production vehicles. Their toughness is supported by laboratory and field durability testing to the stringent OEM requirements. Heim joints and high misalignment spherical bearings were considered, but do not offer the compliance, the waterproof seal, and are limited in their range of angular articulation. The ball links also offer a very low friction in the joint and has up to 50 degrees of articulation. This eliminates binding and allows for smooth load transitions.

Each shock is hand assembled in our factory and dyno tested before use in our kits. This also helps to ensure there are no oil leaks or noise. Shocks are paired together by their compression and rebound numbers after dyno testing to a 3% variance from side to side. This means that in your kit, the fronts and rears are paired almost exactly the same to ensure proper ride quality and performance of the suspension. Each shock is coated in black via EPD, which provides a cohesive appearance, and to help with corrosion resistance.

Adjustment Rings

Height adjustments are made with separate CNC-Machined locking rings for accuracy and smooth adjustment with separate damper shock length adjustment to retain full-stroke and allows for precision suspension tuning. The wide range of allowable ride-height adjustment allows for a conservative drop to more aggressive ride heights for an aggressive stance, or to fine tune your suspension for the circuit to gain full potential of your vehicle's handling capabilities.

Our basic lock ring is located under the spring seat. This ring is special because its primary function is to torque against the spring seat and lock it in place. The lock ring will torque and secure itself to the spring seat securely once properly tightened so that the preload does not change unless the customer decides to make a change. The spring seat and basic lock ring are the two rings that are responsible for gaining leverage to make height adjustment for our coilover systems. Please note that you do not turn the rings independently to adjust height, you simply use them as a leverage point to rotate the shock body into and out of the lower mount to adjust height, but they must be locked together to achieve this.

The lower lock ring is tasked with keeping the shock locked into place once final ride height is selected. The lower lock ring must be loosened before making any sort of height adjustment and locked down properly afterwards using our spanner wrenches.

If you want to lower the vehicle, you spin the spring seat clockwise to thread the shock body into the lower mount.

 

 

Tools

Tools that are included in the kit are the spanner wrenches and your adjustment knobs. These tools are what give you the ability to really customize and tune your new suspension system.

The Spanner wrenches are a crucial tool in adjusting the ride height of your vehicle. They allow you to adjust the position of the shock inside the body and insure the tension on your spring.

The adjustment knobs are used to help you customize the overall feel of your ride, whether your damping is soft or firm.

On G-Racing coilovers with 32 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

17-32: Suggested for track use.
9-16: Suggested for mountain/aggressive use.
1-8: Suggested for common street use.

On G-Street Coilovers with 24 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

About the TSP brand

After quite a few years of research and networking with the industry's best manufacturers, and fabricating and building some prototype parts, TruSpeed Performance decided to launch the TSP brand early 2016. We decided to start with a focus on Suspension and Alignment parts as there are so many companies out there increasing and tuning engines but many often neglect tuning the suspension. Not only does a car need to go fast, but it needs to handle as well. We decided to start by offering quality coilover systems for a large variety of vehicles. After a good amount of searching and negotiating, we decided to work with a company out of Taiwan who was putting out an impressive product and that had over 10 years of experience building suspension systems for other major companies. We were impressed by the quality of the materials used, and their willingness to create and customize applications for our customer's needs. We are constantly expanding the applications that are well over 700 at this point.

We plan to continue to grow the brand and are already putting out our Tru-Align Alignment systems to compliment and help best utilize the power of our TSP Racing G Series Coilovers.

Aluminum alloy upper mounts, surface anodized treatment, very strong, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant aluminum oxide layer. TSP Racing rubber top plates are utilized frequently on our kits. If the front of the vehicle utilizes a camber plate, the rear will use a rubber top plate, although pillowball tops are frequently available for dedicated track vehicles. For all kits in which a camber plate cannot be utilized (A-arm suspensions) the top plates will be rubber front and rear. The main design feature of the rubber top plate is that it dampens NVH from reaching the cabin as much as possible enabling an OEM-like quiet ride. All rubber top plates have a durometer rating of 75A in order to achieve the best balance between performance and comfort.

Pillow Ball Top Hats

The pillowball top plate is used as an upgrade in the rear of a vehicle in lieu of the rubber top plate. Rubber is used as standard to limit NVH from making its way into the cabin although this upgrade is available on various chassis at the customer’s request. Please contact us directly to see what options are available for your specific platform. The pillowball top plate is a good upgrade for customers seeking a more track oriented, rigid setup where NVH is not much of a factor.

SAE9254 Steel Springs

Cold roll formed, anti-deformed with its excellent steel property and prolonged life span.3 main styles are used; linear, s-barrel, and v-barrel

Springs are marked with their length and spring rate in mm-kg/mm for example 220-07 os a 220 mm long spring with 07kg/mm spring rate.

French TOTAL Rotary Dedicated Oil

Corresponds to more changing stroke, stable properties can delay the recession, and remain similar viscosity even at extremely high temperatures.

NOK Oil Seals

We use the same NOK Oil seals as Tein. They are used for Anti-attrition and spoilage after long-term usage. Reducing the problem of oil leaks.

Lower Mounts/Base

The lower mount is where our suspension bolts to your wheel hubs. Each lower mount is designed to be an OEM replacement. We provide any and all OEM mounting points and brackets that were on the OEM shock. The lower mount, and the upper mount, is where reverse engineering the OEM suspension plays its biggest role. The process ensures everything is welded and mounted in OEM positions so that your brake lines, wheel speed sensors, and harnesses are a direct fit. Our lower mounts, whenever possible, are made of seamless steel tubing and all brackets are hand welded. Once the lower mount is completed, it is then sand blasted and powder coated in order to prevent rust and corrosion.

We are now at the center point of our kit. As you can imagine, we have a wide variety of shock types, lengths and diameters. Each vehicle depending on our data from R&D, and accounting for the OEM suspension design will utilize a different style of shock. About the TSP brand

After quite a few years of research and networking with the industry's best manufacturers, and fabricating and building some prototype parts, TruSpeed Performance decided to launch the TSP brand early 2016. We decided to start with a focus on Suspension and Alignment parts as there are so many companies out there increasing and tuning engines but many often neglect tuning the suspension. Not only does a car need to go fast, but it needs to handle as well. We decided to start by offering quality coilover systems for a large variety of vehicles. After a good amount of searching and negotiating, we decided to work with a company out of Taiwan who was putting out an impressive product and that had over 10 years of experience building suspension systems for other major companies. We were impressed by the quality of the materials used, and their willingness to create and customize applications for our customer's needs. We are constantly expanding the applications that are well over 700 at this point.

It's a well known fact that cooler, denser air contains more oxygen, and more oxygen in your engine's air intake charge means better combustion and more power. Hot air contains fewer oxygen molecules, and if your engine is fed hot air there will be less oxygen and therefore less power. Yet that's exactly what your engine gets with the factory air intake system! The solution to this problem is to install an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake System.

Injen starts the power improvement process by positioning an Injen EA Nanofiber dry air filter behind the front bumper. Here, this free-flowing filter can take in the coolest air possible and funnel it through smooth, mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum alloy tubing. Injen designs and repeatedly tests its systems for each application to make sure they're the least restrictive, all the way to the throttle body. So, instead of power-robbing hot air squeezing through a restrictive air filter and intake duct, your engine is taking in huge quantities of cool air surging through free-flowing tubing. The result is increased horsepower and torque, and improved performance.

But unlike other cold air intake systems, Injen's patented MR (Mega Ram) Technology attains this increased intake airflow and performance while maintaining a safe air/fuel ratio. Injen steps down the diameter of the intake tube where the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor mounts, enabling the sensor to detect airflow within established parameters. The engine control computer can then maintain the proper air/fuel ratio and optimize horsepower and torque. Simply put, MR Technology tunes the intake system to avoid the necessity of recalibrating the MAF sensor, and prevents your engine from running too lean or too rich. With MR Technology, Injen created "The World's First Tuned Intake System", delivering optimum performance with a factory safe air/fuel ratio.

Instructions


Aluminum alloy upper mounts, surface anodized treatment, very strong, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant aluminum oxide layer. TSP Racing rubber top plates are utilized frequently on our kits. If the front of the vehicle utilizes a camber plate, the rear will use a rubber top plate, although pillowball tops are frequently available for dedicated track vehicles. For all kits in which a camber plate cannot be utilized (A-arm suspensions) the top plates will be rubber front and rear. The main design feature of the rubber top plate is that it dampens NVH from reaching the cabin as much as possible enabling an OEM-like quiet ride. All rubber top plates have a durometer rating of 75A in order to achieve the best balance between performance and comfort.

Pillow Ball Top Hats

The pillowball top plate is used as an upgrade in the rear of a vehicle in lieu of the rubber top plate. Rubber is used as standard to limit NVH from making its way into the cabin although this upgrade is available on various chassis at the customer’s request. Please contact us directly to see what options are available for your specific platform. The pillowball top plate is a good upgrade for customers seeking a more track oriented, rigid setup where NVH is not much of a factor.

SAE9254 Steel Springs

Cold roll formed, anti-deformed with its excellent steel property and prolonged life span.3 main styles are used; linear, s-barrel, and v-barrel

Springs are marked with their length and spring rate in mm-kg/mm for example 220-07 os a 220 mm long spring with 07kg/mm spring rate.

French TOTAL Rotary Dedicated Oil

Corresponds to more changing stroke, stable properties can delay the recession, and remain similar viscosity even at extremely high temperatures.

NOK Oil Seals

We use the same NOK Oil seals as Tein. They are used for Anti-attrition and spoilage after long-term usage. Reducing the problem of oil leaks.

Lower Mounts/Base

The lower mount is where our suspension bolts to your wheel hubs. Each lower mount is designed to be an OEM replacement. We provide any and all OEM mounting points and brackets that were on the OEM shock. The lower mount, and the upper mount, is where reverse engineering the OEM suspension plays its biggest role. The process ensures everything is welded and mounted in OEM positions so that your brake lines, wheel speed sensors, and harnesses are a direct fit. Our lower mounts, whenever possible, are made of seamless steel tubing and all brackets are hand welded. Once the lower mount is completed, it is then sand blasted and powder coated in order to prevent rust and corrosion.

Shocks

We are now at the center point of our kit. As you can imagine, we have a wide variety of shock types, lengths and diameters. Each vehicle depending on our data from R&D, and accounting for the OEM suspension design will utilize a different style of shock. Each shock is hand assembled in our factory and dyno tested before use in our kits. This also helps to ensure there are no oil leaks or noise. Shocks are paired together by their compression and rebound numbers after dyno testing to a 3% variance from side to side. This means that in your kit, the fronts and rears are paired almost exactly the same to ensure proper ride quality and performance of the suspension. Each shock is coated in black via EPD, which provides a cohesive appearance, and to help with corrosion resistance.

Adjustment Rings

Height adjustments are made with separate CNC-Machined locking rings for accuracy and smooth adjustment with separate damper shock length adjustment to retain full-stroke and allows for precision suspension tuning. The wide range of allowable ride-height adjustment allows for a conservative drop to more aggressive ride heights for an aggressive stance, or to fine tune your suspension for the circuit to gain full potential of your vehicle's handling capabilities.

Our basic lock ring is located under the spring seat. This ring is special because its primary function is to torque against the spring seat and lock it in place. The lock ring will torque and secure itself to the spring seat securely once properly tightened so that the preload does not change unless the customer decides to make a change. The spring seat and basic lock ring are the two rings that are responsible for gaining leverage to make height adjustment for our coilover systems. Please note that you do not turn the rings independently to adjust height, you simply use them as a leverage point to rotate the shock body into and out of the lower mount to adjust height, but they must be locked together to achieve this.

The lower lock ring is tasked with keeping the shock locked into place once final ride height is selected. The lower lock ring must be loosened before making any sort of height adjustment and locked down properly afterwards using our spanner wrenches.

If you want to lower the vehicle, you spin the spring seat clockwise to thread the shock body into the lower mount.

 

 

Tools

Tools that are included in the kit are the spanner wrenches and your adjustment knobs. These tools are what give you the ability to really customize and tune your new suspension system.

The Spanner wrenches are a crucial tool in adjusting the ride height of your vehicle. They allow you to adjust the position of the shock inside the body and insure the tension on your spring.

The adjustment knobs are used to help you customize the overall feel of your ride, whether your damping is soft or firm.

On G-Racing coilovers with 32 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

17-32: Suggested for track use.
9-16: Suggested for mountain/aggressive use.
1-8: Suggested for common street use.

On G-Street Coilovers with 24 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

17-24: Suggested for sportier/aggressive use.
9-16: Suggested for spirited driving use.
1-8: Suggested for common street use.

 

Warranty

TSP Racing coilovers come with a 1 year unlimited mile limited warranty that covers all the main shock body components.

6 month warranty of consumables like rubber top mount, end links, etc

Camber plates are not covered under this warranty and have warranty because of the metal on metal contact.

After a good amount of searching and negotiating, we decided to work with a company out of Taiwan who was putting out an impressive product and that had over 10 years of experience building suspension systems for other major companies. We were impressed by the quality of the materials used, and their willingness to create and customize applications for our customer's needs. Megan Racing Coil-Over Dampers are the ultimate upgrade to your track or street car. Featuring 32 levels of damper force adjustment, separate spring perch height and shock length adjustment allowing you to retain full suspension stroke and to fine tune your suspension characteristics. These damper kits are then perfectly matched with front and rear Pillow Ball upper mounts, including camber plates integrated with the upper Pillow Ball mounts on strut-type suspension applications.


Compression and rebound settings are adjusted through a single damper adjustment knob which is built-in at the top of the damper mount for easy access. Adjustments are simple to tune according to your style of driving and desired comfort level whether you are a professional certified mechanic or an automotive enthusiast with amateur mechanical skills. All of our dampers are capable of handling a +2kg/mm or -2kg/mm change in spring rates to further tune your suspension to your desired handling characteristics. 

Height adjustments are made with separate CNC-Machined locking spring perches for accuracy and smooth adjustment with separate damper shock length adjustment to retain full-stroke and allows for precision suspension tuning. TSP Racing G Series Coilover kits are built for road and track use, TSP's Coilovers are fully height-adjustable, allowing you to keep the ride height the same as factory, or up to 50mm/2in lower. Just set your ride height and damping preference with the 24 click linear adjustments.

Got your new coilovers and need to know how to properly adjust them?

Instructions


Aluminum alloy upper mounts, surface anodized treatment, very strong, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant aluminum oxide layer. TSP Racing rubber top plates are utilized frequently on our kits. If the front of the vehicle utilizes a camber plate, the rear will use a rubber top plate, although pillowball tops are frequently available for dedicated track vehicles. For all kits in which a camber plate cannot be utilized (A-arm suspensions) the top plates will be rubber front and rear. The main design feature of the rubber top plate is that it dampens NVH from reaching the cabin as much as possible enabling an OEM-like quiet ride. All rubber top plates have a durometer rating of 75A in order to achieve the best balance between performance and comfort.

Pillow Ball Top Hats

The pillowball top plate is used as an upgrade in the rear of a vehicle in lieu of the rubber top plate. Rubber is used as standard to limit NVH from making its way into the cabin although this upgrade is available on various chassis at the customer’s request. Please contact us directly to see what options are available for your specific platform. The pillowball top plate is a good upgrade for customers seeking a more track oriented, rigid setup where NVH is not much of a factor.

SAE9254 Steel Springs

Cold roll formed, anti-deformed with its excellent steel property and prolonged life span.3 main styles are used; linear, s-barrel, and v-barrel

Springs are marked with their length and spring rate in mm-kg/mm for example 220-07 os a 220 mm long spring with 07kg/mm spring rate.

French TOTAL Rotary Dedicated Oil

Corresponds to more changing stroke, stable properties can delay the recession, and remain similar viscosity even at extremely high temperatures.

NOK Oil Seals

We use the same NOK Oil seals as Tein. They are used for Anti-attrition and spoilage after long-term usage. Reducing the problem of oil leaks.

Lower Mounts/Base

The lower mount is where our suspension bolts to your wheel hubs. Each lower mount is designed to be an OEM replacement. We provide any and all OEM mounting points and brackets that were on the OEM shock. The lower mount, and the upper mount, is where reverse engineering the OEM suspension plays its biggest role. The process ensures everything is welded and mounted in OEM positions so that your brake lines, wheel speed sensors, and harnesses are a direct fit. Our lower mounts, whenever possible, are made of seamless steel tubing and all brackets are hand welded. Once the lower mount is completed, it is then sand blasted and powder coated in order to prevent rust and corrosion.

Shocks

We are now at the center point of our kit. As you can imagine, we have a wide variety of shock types, lengths and diameters. Each vehicle depending on our data from R&D, and accounting for the OEM suspension design will utilize a different style of shock. Each shock is hand assembled in our factory and dyno tested before use in our kits. This also helps to ensure there are no oil leaks or noise. Shocks are paired together by their compression and rebound numbers after dyno testing to a 3% variance from side to side. This means that in your kit, the fronts and rears are paired almost exactly the same to ensure proper ride quality and performance of the suspension. Each shock is coated in black via EPD, which provides a cohesive appearance, and to help with corrosion resistance.

Adjustment Rings

Height adjustments are made with separate CNC-Machined locking rings for accuracy and smooth adjustment with separate damper shock length adjustment to retain full-stroke and allows for precision suspension tuning. The wide range of allowable ride-height adjustment allows for a conservative drop to more aggressive ride heights for an aggressive stance, or to fine tune your suspension for the circuit to gain full potential of your vehicle's handling capabilities.

Our basic lock ring is located under the spring seat. This ring is special because its primary function is to torque against the spring seat and lock it in place. The lock ring will torque and secure itself to the spring seat securely once properly tightened so that the preload does not change unless the customer decides to make a change. The spring seat and basic lock ring are the two rings that are responsible for gaining leverage to make height adjustment for our coilover systems. Please note that you do not turn the rings independently to adjust height, you simply use them as a leverage point to rotate the shock body into and out of the lower mount to adjust height, but they must be locked together to achieve this.

The lower lock ring is tasked with keeping the shock locked into place once final ride height is selected. The lower lock ring must be loosened before making any sort of height adjustment and locked down properly afterwards using our spanner wrenches.

If you want to lower the vehicle, you spin the spring seat clockwise to thread the shock body into the lower mount.

 

 

Tools

Tools that are included in the kit are the spanner wrenches and your adjustment knobs. These tools are what give you the ability to really customize and tune your new suspension system.

The Spanner wrenches are a crucial tool in adjusting the ride height of your vehicle. They allow you to adjust the position of the shock inside the body and insure the tension on your spring.

The adjustment knobs are used to help you customize the overall feel of your ride, whether your damping is soft or firm.

On G-Racing coilovers with 32 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

17-32: Suggested for track use.
9-16: Suggested for mountain/aggressive use.
1-8: Suggested for common street use.

On G-Street Coilovers with 24 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

17-24: Suggested for sportier/aggressive use.
9-16: Suggested for spirited driving use.
1-8: Suggested for common street use.

 

Warranty

TSP Racing coilovers come with a 1 year unlimited mile limited warranty that covers all the main shock body components.

6 month warranty of consumables like rubber top mount, end links, etc

Camber plates are not covered under this warranty and have warranty because of the metal on metal contact.

All kits are completely rebuildable and individual parts are available separately for purchase.

About the TSP brand

After quite a few years of research and networking with the industry's best manufacturers, and fabricating and building some prototype parts, TruSpeed Performance decided to launch the TSP brand early 2016. The adjustment knobs are used to help you customize the overall feel of your ride, whether your damping is soft or firm.

On G-Racing coilovers with 32 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

17-32: Suggested for track use.
9-16: Suggested for mountain/aggressive use.
1-8: Suggested for common street use.

On G-Street Coilovers with 24 click adjustment your recommended settings are;

17-24: Suggested for sportier/aggressive use.
9-16: Suggested for spirited driving use.
1-8: Suggested for common street use.

 

Warranty

TSP Racing coilovers come with a 1 year unlimited mile limited warranty that covers all the main shock body components.

6 month warranty of consumables like rubber top mount, end links, etc

Camber plates are not covered under this warranty and have warranty because of the metal on metal contact.

All kits are completely rebuildable and individual parts are available separately for purchase.

About the TSP brand

After quite a few years of research and networking with the industry's best manufacturers, and fabricating and building some prototype parts, TruSpeed Performance decided to launch the TSP brand early 2016. We decided to start with a focus on Suspension and Alignment parts as there are so many companies out there increasing and tuning engines but many often neglect tuning the suspension. Not only does a car need to go fast, but it needs to handle as well. We decided to start by offering quality coilover systems for a large variety of vehicles. After a good amount of searching and negotiating, we decided to work with a company out of Taiwan who was putting out an impressive product and that had over 10 years of experience building suspension systems for other major companies. We were impressed by the quality of the materials used, and their willingness to create and customize applications for our customer's needs. We are constantly expanding the applications that are well over 700 at this point.

We plan to continue to grow the brand and are already putting out our Tru-Align Alignment systems to compliment and help best utilize the power of our TSP Racing G Series Coilovers.

92-97 Subaru Alcyone SVX Powergrid Front Swaybar End Links (10M-55)

In today's high performance arena, there is more concentration on the whole car than ever before. The "g" force previously measured in straight line acceleration is now being mixed with the "g" force in lateral acceleration.

Within all of the suspension upgrades available for your vehicle, the most overlooked component is the sway bar link. This simple component attaches to the suspension and promotes stabilizing or "planing-out" the vehicle in a turn. Did you know that the simplicity of this link can hurt your car's performance?

Powergrid Inc. has created a system replacing the fixed-length pogo stick configurations. The Powergrid Adjustable Sway-Bar Link System provides the ability to easily adjust or tune the sway bar as part of the suspension system.

The stabilizer-bar has been overlooked as a tunable component in the production-based suspension system due to the lack of an adjustable link. The OEMs recognize that it is important to have a sway bar for cornering stability. It is installed in the suspension system and sent down the assembly line. From personal investigations, the sway bar with fixed length links can induce a load into any two cross-corners of your vehicle. The ability to neutralize the sway bar in your suspension system is a great advantage to baseline, balance, and refines your vehicle's handling characteristics. Powergrid has achieved this by creating adapters that integrate current sway bar link technology to the traditional sway bar architecture.

The Powergrid system has incorporated adjustable THK resin ball-stud links. You may recognize their fixed length siblings that are finding themselves on many new production vehicles. Their toughness is supported by laboratory and field durability testing to the stringent OEM requirements. Heim joints and high misalignment spherical bearings were considered, but do not offer the compliance, the waterproof seal, and are limited in their range of angular articulation. The ball links also offer a very low friction in the joint and has up to 50 degrees of articulation. This eliminates binding and allows for smooth load transitions.


The Powergrid Adjustable Sway-Bar System in not limited to road race cars. Anyone that has taken the time to upgrade their street car's suspension should consider this product. Once again, knowing the influence of your sway bar on your suspension is as important on the street as it is on the track. Drag racers may want to include this system as a way to preload the right rear of their vehicles.

Pogo-stick links are 1940s technology that does not belong on a 21st Century vehicle. Ball links are here to stay, but there are too many of us that still enjoy our pogo-stick link cars.
